Dilworth BMX began as a non-sanctioned track in 1979. The first race attracted 300 riders from the Fargo-Moorhead metropolitan area. In the early 1980's, the track was sanctioned by the USBA. When the ABA subsequently acquired the USBA sanction, Dilworth BMX became an ABA sanctioned track. Dilworth BMX later joined the majority of the other tracks in Minnesota in being sanctioned by the NBL. For the past decade and a half, Dilworth BMX has been a very proud member of the ABA family.
